I thought I told you that Steve, the tall black guy from our support group had the VSG and he's also with Kaiser and had Dr. Macik...He had his surgery in January of this year.

Hi.  I met you at the support meeting.  I had the VSG with Dr. Macik on 12/3.  It was a piece of cake.  When I went to the hospital for pre-admissions there was a woman behind the desk that I had to check in with.  She noticed from my paperwork that Dr. Macik was my surgeon.  She told me that she was having the same surgery with Dr. Macik.  She thought he was the best around.  Dr. Ma****xplained to me that it was an easy surgery.  I had no complications.  I spent one night in the hospital and home the next day.  I was walking around, no reflux issues, no throwing up.  Good luck on your decision.
